One of the more interesting developments in movie rentals has been the
downloaded movie. Most movie require no extra work to enjoy, and are returned
when the viewer is done with them. A downloaded movie, however, requires the
potential viewer to download the movie and burn it to a DVD before viewing, but
is then a permanent part of the viewer’s collection. However, you still get a
high-quality movie, even if it is minus the extras on a normal DVD.

A new classic, this Miyazaki movie is a fun romp through the spirit realm, as a
little girl works to rescue her parents. An interesting take on the spirit
realm, the girl has luck and hard work as her allies, as well as the friends
that she makes through impressing them in different ways. A fun movie to watch,
especially if you have kids in the room.

Based loosely off the 1969 movie, this movie takes advantage of one of the
largest traffic jams in order to pull off one of the biggest heists ever. A lot
of great quips, and the action is second to none, this is one heist movie that
starts by doing everything wrong, but does it in a right way. A great
performance by the cast, with just the right amount of chemistry between the
cast members (not too smarmy and definitely friends), this is a great popcorn
movie.

A movie placed in the early 70’s, this movie follows a family as it encounters
some rough weather, and not just the worst ice storm in a century brewing. It’s
an interesting film, with strong performances not only from the veterans, but
the junior members as well. A quiet movie, but a good date movie as well.
