Stuck between the names Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt has been caught in the middle of a love triangle that started with his marriage to Jennifer Aniston. After filming the movie Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Pitt and Jolie were rumored to have had an affair that eventually led to the split of Pitt and Aniston. Confused yet? Though the 2 denied the affair and denied that any relationship even existed, they were spotted vacationing in Africa and even agreed to be photographed for a spread in W magazine.

Where does Jennifer Aniston stand in all of this? Well after her role as Rachel ended of the hit TV show Friends, Aniston and Pit officially announced that, while they were remaining friends, herself and Brad Pitt were separating. Since the rumors of Pitt and Jolie spread, Aniston has been featured in magazines like People and most famously Vanity Fair, in which she expressed her emotions towards the whole incident. While Pitt and Aniston have put on their best faces for the public, their very public split affected both of them.

While Pitt and Jolie have kept mum on the nature of their relationship, Brad recently appeared in a New York Post photo that captured him walking with Jolie’s 2 adopted children with a baby bottle in his back pocket. Will Pitt eventually adopt Jolie’s children and continue a more serious relationship with the actress? No official word has come from the camps of either, but that announcement would surely launch a tabloid frenzy ranging from Pitt’s worthiness to be a father right down to Jennifer Aniston’s thoughts on the matter (given that she has publicly expressed her want for a family).
