When most people think of celebrities, they might think of money, fame, fortune. Movie stars winning Oscars, singers garnering Grammys, million dollar homes, fancy cars, bling ‘til it won’t stop. Where does it stop? Celebrities work hard on their images and, for many of them, whatever will put them in the spotlight is what they’re willing to do. Whether it’s fact or fiction, if someone will pay attention, many celebrities are willing to do what it takes.

Not all celebrities are publicity hounds. There are those who hold on to their small town ways, who stay true to themselves and those close to them. There is more to life than fame and fortune and many celebrities do remember this. Demi Moore and Bruce Willis, though each finds him and herself in the public eye quite regularly, have kept there family values in Hailey, Idaho. Rumored to have been seen roaming the shops of the small town, kids in tow, they have tried to keep the rumor mill at bay when it comes to keeping their family sane. They try so hard, they can even manage to stay friends even though they’re divorced.

More and more often, the famous prefer to be mixed in with the unfamous. When good deeds are needed and humanity outweighs cause celebré, many famous names can be counted on to show strength where it counts—from their hearts. In the wake of Hurricane Katrina, hundreds of celebrities put their superstar status to good use by organizing concerts or pitching in at shelters or other places where they could lend a hand. Disasters can bring out the best in people, even when many of those people often seem untouchable by reason of their lots in life.
