If you’re an AOL customer, you may want to check out Moviefone, the movie information website that lets you know all about your favorite actors, which movies are premiering for the coming weekend, and polls for you to vote on your favorite films of the season. Moviefone also includes short films and independent films from up and coming directors, and you can view trailers and clips of movies you may be interested in seeing. You can even purchase your tickets online, so you won’t have to wait in line once you get to the theater.
You can also visit Yahoo Movies (http://movies.yahoo.com) to rate the movies you’ve seen this year, find out more information about the producers and directors behind your favorite films, as well as find movie show times in your area and reserve tickets. You’ll also get information on which DVDs are being released in the coming week, so you’ll know which films to add to your collection. Show times for movies in your area are listed, as well as times for movies in other cities, so if you’re going out of town, you can still catch the movies you want to see when they’re first released.
