This is easy even for a technophobe. Going on the basics that you have a pc or at least access to one, then you can begin. Even if you don’t have internet access then don’t despair because at most chains you can order your tickets in a very similar way using the good old fashioned telephone.
All the big chains now have easy to access secure sites for you to order your tickets on-line. Once you’ve accessed their site you just feed in the details of film, times, place that you want, give your credit card details and all you have to do then is turn up at the right time and the right place to have your seat at the latest blockbuster guaranteed, what could be easier??
The only snag might be if you turn up without your credit card and/or booking number, as this is usually the only acceptable ID used as proof to actually purchase your tickets once you are at the cinema. So, as they say, don’t leave home without it!!
It isn’t only the big multiplex chains that offer this kind of service, increasingly web-based companies are being set up specifically to deal with on-line booking for movie tickets. The principles are the same as the ones offered by the cinema chains themselves, but with one big difference, they are not exclusive to one particular chain but act as brokers for all cinemas, both local and if you want to travel excessively to catch the latest releases, world-wide!! Of course it isn’t very likely that you’ll want to book a cinema seats in another country, but you never know when you might take an overseas trip and want to plan a night’s entertainment in advance. Either that or just take comfort in the fact that you can!!
