Understandably, spending a few hundred dollars for an entertainment system
sounds ridiculous to most people, even those who enjoy playing video games.
Fortunately, there are some alternatives. Instead of rushing out to purchase a
new system just as they hit the shelves, some gaming fans have chosen to wait
it out a few weeks or months. On average, once the excitement and anticipation
of a new product dies, the price tends to fall a little. Of course, price falls
for the new Xbox will not be a significant difference. Yet, it's better than
paying full price. Moreover, browsing pawn shops or secondhand stores a few
months after the release date may prove beneficial.
